The card and interface tested well: Avg write speed of 10.02 MB/s, avg read speed of 16.52 MB/s, and no errors writing/reading over the entire available 14.83 GB. A full test is slow (~40 min), so I only tested 2 GB of space on the 2nd card, with similar speed results and no errors. Next, I put one of the cards into a Zoom H1n audio recorder, formatted it, and did a few cycles of recording, swapping the card back to the card reader, copying the files to my Mac, and listening back. The card I tested worked just fine in the Zoom. At one point in this process, the card dismounted itself from my Mac (while I was listening to a copy of the file on my HD), causing a warning to appear about possible data corruption. But no data was corrupted on the card; it continued to work fine on both the H1n and my Mac in subsequent tests.
