it is a good home gym workout
Assembling it was much easier than I anticipated.... Only issue was the screw that goes in the hole... I had to play with one of the screw to get to the hole, so it can fit... Took me about an hour when it should take only 10 to 15 minutes to assemble.. Overall, it is a good home gym workout.... Dips are like the upper body of squats.... Combine it with pullups and pushups and you got yourself a great home body workout.... If you are not much of a weight/plates person like I am than you should get this dip setup and a pull up bar... Ever see those prison workouts and wonder why they are so big? DIPS, Variation of Pushups, pull ups, chin ups... Eat good, increase your reps, get a weight belt..... NO EXCUSES..... Overall, this products is good...If you are just starting out, you might feel pain in your palms because the cushion on the bar is not really soft... But I think you will get used to it overtime and the pain goes away...... Before performing dips for triceps and chest, I advise you to checkout some youtube videos on how to do proper form... Without a proper form, you can injure your shoulders and trust me, it can take a long time for it to heal...... Dips look simple, but it's just one of those things that you can't judge a book by its cover... Anyways, BUY IT...

Love it! Setup was very easy
Works exactly as expected. Love it! Setup was very easy. This stand is built very well, very sturdy, and strong. In couple days, everyone in the family tried it and put it to the test - including kids using it as a jungle gym. Before purchasing, I read reviews that people had trouble with holes not lining up. It's NOT the manufacturing! I had 2 like that, about half a hole off. With heavy-duty metal like this, and thick paint, the fitting is going to be tight. You gotta work it in. But that's exactly what you want for a stand like this... hard-locked, tight fit so it is strong enough to hold your body weight (230lbs in my case and NO problem). For one, I just pounded on the top bar until it lined up. For the 2nd, I used a (small diameter) flathead screwdriver pushed through the "half" hole until flat end was on top bar hole opposite side. Then with hammer, tapped screwdriver upward along the lower vertical bar portion until holes lined up. Was not difficult at all.

which is lame. Anyway
The product is solid and works. The setup time was minimal. I only give this 4 stars because one of the drill holes is misaligned and when I place in the screw it causes the base to have a tilt to one side, giving the whole apparatus a kind of wobble . After taking the whole thing apart a couple of times I can see that unless I re-drill the hole the issue will continue, and I don't have the tools or knowledge to do so. I have mitigated this by placing some cardboard under the misaligned side of the base, which fixes the issue more or less, but means I will have to do this as long as I have the dip station, which is lame. Anyway, the product will still serve me.

Great for Tricep Dips and Inverted Rows
This apparatus is solid and well made. The handles are comfortable and it feels secure. It sits flat, no rocking, and is easy to move around my workout area, to move it out of the way when not in use.It is not foldable, however with a wrench and a few minutes you could remove the four bolts and have it flat.It is perfect for my needs and is a great price for a Tricep Dip stand.Dimensions:At the base: Length = 31" (29" not including the feet), Width = 35"At at the top (the handles): Height = 37.5", Length = 8" to 9" of usable length along the handles, Width = 22" center-to-center between the two handles, 20" between the inner edges of the handles, 23.75" between the outer edges of the handles. The width is not adjustable. The handles are parallel to each other, not angled. The tubing is about 1.5" diameter. The handles, including the foam covering, are probably about 1.6" diameter when in use.Weight = 23.4 lb

Seems sturdy for now but setup alignment was not great..
Like other review/images I've seen, I had trouble with hole alignment as well. I was able to get 3 of the screw/holes to fit nicely but the fourth was always off.. I ended up having to just "jam" it in a bit to make it go the extra bit of distance.Besides that, it seems sturdy enough for the intended use so it's okay I guess. Just expected a bit more quality though.Small inconvenience - my screwdriver didn't fit (exact screw cap diameter holes) so I had to get another one (not a big deal), but it doesn't list the exact screw size/specifications. Not the end of the world since I can just bring one of the screws and test out which drivers fit the best at Home Depot, but a simple text somewhere would be nice.

Don't believe the negative reviews , solid product.
Who ever does not rate this 5 stars can probably not even do a dip. You have to wiggle the connecting parts a bit to get the screws to go through, their are a lot of low reviews because of buyers that state that the screw holes do not align but that claim is exaggerated. This bar is inexpensive and built in China, with very little effort I worked around these things like the build quality and built a sturdy dip bar that has great support. Even a novice to building and putting things together can figure this out. The instructions are just a picture but its very easy to figure out , its only 4 parts. A higher quality dip bar will have a pad for hanging leg raises , pull up bar etc but this dip bar is great for the price and seems like it will last a long time. It took me 15 minutes to build , and really did not have to look at any instructions.

Too big
Jan 2018- Dec 2021 I’ve owned this. Takes up too much space. It’s actually injured me twice because it found out it’s too high and wide for my small height and frame. Its so big. Very sturdy though. If you’re a big American man, this is for you probably-not a petite woman.
