Review: Perfect roof mount - I was looking for a mount for a basketball backstop on my garage. This one had three mounting configuration including a roof mount option, which I used. I had a gutter on my garage, so I used a short pressure treated 2x8 board to extend the front mounting point over the gutter. It worked perfectly. The rear mounts went directly on the roof. One really nice feature is that the construction allows to roll off the roof from behind the backstop. I hadn't thought about it at all until the ball went behind the backstop. The design allowed the ball to go to either side and then roll off the roof.
