The hold wasn’t as strong as I had hoped. **Q: will this hold a quilt? looking to do wall basting of a large quilt. If I paint a 6" strip the wall width would it hold the weight of a large quilt?** A: It would definitely hold it with good magnets if just the one layer, but only if you don't paint over it. MUST be stirred very well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice product. *by R***H on 8 November 2022* The product is clumpy, I assume because it is attracted to itself. The consistency reminds me of cold chocolate pudding. So you must have patience when applying this, or you'll waste product. I applied 3 thin coats, and then normal paint on top of that. I did not wait between coats because each layer was dry by the time I started over, since I used thin coats. I would have done more coats, but the can is SMALL. Hence, I only painted the center third of my child's wall. It will not hold anything heavy, but it does work with small magnets, kids play magnets, and earth magnets.
