Great value
The seat/cushion is firm but I find this to be supportive and still comfortable. Easy to assemble. Initial quality is very good.

Not as comfortable as I'd hoped
This isn't the worst chair I've ever had but it's also not the best. It was pretty easy to put together and does have a nice backward tilt to it if I put my feet up on a footrest. I'm 5'5" tall and weigh around 180 pounds and my butt just fits in the seat with very little room to spare. I personally prefer more wiggle room. The armrests are a little high, so they push my arms up too far for comfort and make my shoulders/neck ache. They are also hard as rocks. There's no cushioning and my elbows and forearms got sore fast. I ordered armrest pads and hope that will help but that's another $30 to make this chair more comfortable. I sit at my desk for several hours at a time some days and after only four weeks the cushion on the seat has flattened and left me with very little support. It still has more padding than my last chair but my butt hurts after sitting in this one for only an hour or two. The lumbar support seems okay but the extra cushioning at the top of the back of the chair pushes directly against my shoulder blades and makes them ache after a while. I feel like that upper padding should be higher or lower to fit into the curves of my body more comfortably. This chair might work best for a thinner person who is either taller or shorter than me. If my telecommute situation should go on much longer, I'm afraid I might have to buy another chair.

Like Very Much
This chair was rather easy to assemble, except to the last screw! I didn't tighten any, as instructed. But that last screw just wouldn't line up with the hole! So, I loosened a few more screws and the last screw fit as it should have. I then sat in the chair and it did not collapse under me, so worked out well.

Most comfortable chair I have found
My dad and I have tried many chairs out there and he found the best one for his shop was exactly this one. Suffer his birthday I bought this for him since the last one no longer has any padding left in the seed after 10 years or so of use. But it's important to have solid armrest that don't jiggle around like those other ones that just come off of a vertical piece of metal or whatever. And having a mid back is much better than having a full back because it sucks having a headrest. And low back is a terrible C2 so that's what this mid back is the best

This is a great chair!
This is a really nice chair!. The woman who works in the office across from my own purchased this chair from a local retailer, I believe it was Office Depot. When my Assistant and I got permission to order a new chair, we liked hers so much that we simply found the same one on Amazon for a better price. It looks nice and is very comfortable to sit in. My only regret is that I didn't sit in it a little longer before making up my mind, only because of how deep it is. I am only 5"2 and I prefer to sit COMPLETELY upright (which my Assistant claims is unusual). This chair is just a little too deep for my short legs to do this (I'd like my low back flush against the chair and my knees comfortably folded over the edge of the seat). Also, I wish I had measured the height of and width of the arms. I have an old desk and the chair will not slide underneath it; the arms are a little too wide and a little too tall. My Assistant, on the other hand, has a higher desk and longer legs and is in love with the purchase, no regrets!

excellent value
I purchased this for my daughter since she's spending so much time at her desk. I have purchased this chair before for myself. It's comfortable and affordable home office chair. It's not as configurable as some, but it meets my needs and price range. The seat padding in mine has compressed so I added a cushion. Otherwise it's great. The padding in my daughter's chair is noticeably stiffer. Check back in 6 months to find out if the seat cushion holds up better.

You can't beat it for the price
This was easy to assemble and is pretty comfortable. I am a big guy so I need a chair that will fit me without taking up a lot of space. This one fits the bill, and you cannot beat the price for a brand new office chair.
