My Husband work in construction, remodeling and fire restoration. He has for 35 years. He tells me that this is the best quality headlamp he has ever owned. He uses this headlamp almost every day. It doesn't fall off his head or loosen up over time. It is very bright. He also uses it when he needs to walk our acreage at night. The car charger is especially nice, since he forgets to recharge it unless I remind him.

This is an amazing product for the price. I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It's very high quality and the lights are amazing. It feels very sturdy, easy to put together and has great features. The small flashlight is a great bonus. It fits in your pocket and turns on to give you lots of light when you need it. Rockbirds is a great company and they've made an amazing product.

I was looking for a lamp to take backpacking through North GA. This will work, but it's inability to become dim is a bit frustrating. I have a few high powered lights and they are all able to dim more and be brighter at their respective settings. Don't get me wrong, this light is very bright, and I do still intend to take it on a hike this weekend to test out how I like it. Another missing feature is a red light option. Sure, the massive battery pack on the rear of the unit lights up red, but I am referring to the lamp itself. It would be really nice to use when around other campers so you don't inadvertently blind them for the foreseeable future.. it would also preserve your night vision and make the battery life skyrocket. Another annoying oversight is the way you have to cycle through the center/sides/all/strobe options. You cannot turn off the unit without going through them all, so you inevitably end up strobing everyone around you, no matter what setting you were originally using (the strobe operates on the "all" [brightest] setting). I would prefer a separate button for this setting or maybe having to press it in a certain pattern etc. It does have a few good things about it though. It's certainly bright, whether you prefer it that way or not, and I expect that it will easily light up as far as I can see on the trails ahead (not sure how animals would feel about this though..). The strap is decent and is adequately stretchy/elastic, but the part that rests against your forehead is rather uncomfortable. I plan to be wearing a hat/beanie though, so that might not be much of an issue. I also like it's adjustable angle options, I just wish it were easily detachable for clipping to your pack straps. The construction of the light itself seems rugged enough, although I'm not impressed with the design for the battery enclosure. It's pretty uncomfortable against the back of my head, and it doesn't seem like it would put up much of a fight against water/sweat/dust/etc. All in all, time will tell. On my next hike I'll be watching for durability, comfort, battery life, and brightness preferences. I'll update this review once I get a chance to really use this.

Comes with batteries & all accessories in picture. Also came with a small flashlight that takes 1 AA battery. Perfect for hunting

Very bright and batteries last awhile. I like it so much I bought another. I like how this one came with 3 chargers.

EXCELLENT VALUE - GOOD PRICE.

The light itself is awesome - I love everything about it. My only complaint is that there are no directions and I am not sure how to get the regular flashlight to work.
