Review: I love this grill - First off. It is heavy. But it is easy to carry, doesn't tilt like the old lodge does, and is super well built. But, you don't want to carry it 50 yards as it is thick cast iron. This thing really cooks. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best grill I've ever used. I use my starter (the small one) and poor in my hot bricks. (Kingford). Set in on the high setting (cooking surface) and open the draft door half way. Man, do those steaks and burgers sizzle! I put some corn oil on it before cooking and ran it one full cycle to season it. No big sticking issues the first use. (Burgers). Cooked ribeyes three days later, no sticking. Man this thing cooks great. I have NEVER had better meat cooked on a grill. This product is well made, well packed, easy to put together (two screws and tool included) and a great company. Well done Ironmaster. This is WELL worth the extra money. I'm one happy customer.

It cooks hamburgers to perfection better than my outside Weber gas grill. It will only fit about 5 hamburgers and a few hotdogs on it. I have it on top of a wrought iron 10 gallon fish tank stand. Works great. I do put it away after it’s cold and I empty cold charcoal out. In the Garage I use the kingsford fire starter chimney which is a wonderful way to not use lighter fluid. Who wants to taste chemicals in your meat

**Q: Can you use wood for fuel besides charcoal**
A: The fire bowl size for this grill is large enough to use wood well.

**Q: Some of the competing products have only 3 legs. Cant tell from this products pictures….does the base have 3 legs or 4?**
A: The base of the grill is 3 legs, which is a geometric design, with 3 points forming a horizontal plane. Therefore, whether the grill is placed on the table top, or other uneven ground, the grill can be kept stable and will not shake.

**Q: Is this made in USA?**
A: made in China

**Q: If the entire thing is cast iron,  does everything get hot, what is it safe to put it on?**
A: like a Hibatchi and being cast iron...the entire unit gets hot.  The feet stay cool enough to not burn a flammable surface.  To be safe...because of hot coals and smoke...never use indoors and only on non-flammable outdoor surfaces such as brick, cement, stone, etc.  Let common sense prevail, also far enough away from any flammable material.   Keep kids and pets away.

Great Hibachi. Use it a lot. Easy to clean. I research many and this one is the best one for me. Pre seasoned. It cooks hamburgers to perfection better than my outside Weber gas grill. We bought this to take to a VRBO that didn’t have a grill. It’s perfect! We use a “chimney” to start the coals, pour them in the grill, and away we go! Perfectly seared steaks, chicken and veges! It’s heavy, but it’s cast iron which helps to attain high temps! Totally worth the cost! Huge thumbs up …
