This product will not stop a determined chewer, because any baby mobile enough to reach the side of the crib, is able to easily push the crib protector aside. My first child chewed a whole larger than a quarter in diameter, and about an eighth of an inch deep during one nap. She mentioned this even though I had crib protectors on all four sides of her crib. It was not a deterrent. The product encouraged her to chew near the corner, instead of the middle, but that is hardly on improvement. I have a picture of the damage from the distance. Amazon inadvertently deleted my old picture that focused on the damage. (Boo, Amazon). My second picture here shows my retro-fitted crib protector. I took crib protectors on all four sides (which by the way, cost over $80 for the four--not a bargain), and I then sewed burb clothes on each corner. To change and wash it, I had to cut the burb clothes off each corner and then re-sew them, but it finally worked.How did this product get some many positive reviewers? It is a mystery to me. Perhaps, it is being purchased by people who don't really need it. My second child never needed these, although I already had them, I didn't bother to put them on. She was uninterested in chewing. So, this is definitely not a must have product for every child, but it is also a flawed product for children who actually need it.

I initially put this on our registry since other new moms I know had said that the edge of the crib can get a little beat up from wear and tear (button on your jeans leaving scratches, watch and bracelet dings, plus kids teething) and if we want to keep the crib long enough we convert it to a bed, we want it to look nice still. The reason I loved it is that it really is a great way to keep a few singing toys in the crib without having them be in the way of her breathing should she roll towards them and that we can move them out of the way as well. This piece is padded and washed well. I washed on cold and line dried.

This does the job for my non-standard crib rails. We have the type where the rails have a wide, flat top (a few inches wide). I searched high and low for a cover to keep my son from gnawing on them, and this finally fit the bill. It looks fine on our white crib. Not the most attractive it could possibly be, but really no crib wrap is going to both do the job and look awesome, but this one is fine. It does the job and no more worrying about ingesting paint or toxic chemicals. Parenting win.

Luckily I only NEEDED this for a short while during early teething. DD hasn't tried to bite the crib since then. I have the 2 side rail & front rail covers. Love that they are so easy to put on/take off & you can wash them!These are great to protect your crib from little teeth, but also are good as added cushion for little ones in the crib. DD is 20 months old now but we still use these because occasionally she loses her balance & may hit her head on the rail. For us, it seems to block some of the air from the ceiling fan from hitting her directly when she sleeps so she doesn't get too cold but there is still plenty of air circulating in her room.

This has been a lifesaver. It not only stopped him from biting at it, but the little toy hangers give DS something to fiddle with when he wakes up until I can get to him. The straps are a tiny bit off for my cribs bars as only one lines up perfectly, but I can't expect it to fit every single crib brand the same. It is just shifted to one side a very tiny bit. You can't tell just by looking at it.

This product sucks bought it so child will not damage your expense of crib however Velcro does not stick together and it's more of a hazard. It is thick enough so when she does by on the side the rally not to cause teeth marks but it comes off easy. Buyer beware if you are trying to keep outbof your child scrub that can suffocate them. Needs better Velcro that actually sticks

We bought this along with the side rail covers and they have saved the wood from our little chewer. They are super soft, easy to install and this one has the straps to attach toys to. Now, when he wakes up he stands up and grabs the toys and plays with them for a while instead of screaming for mommy and daddy.

We ordered the Leachco Easy Teether XL because our daughter has a crazy chewing habit. One day she was having a rough time going down for a nap, and we went in to check on her and it looked like her crib had been attacked by a rabid beaver.At first I tried wrapping a sheet around the crib rails and securing it with a ribbon, but it looked pretty stupid and DD started to unravel the ribbon, which was pretty dangerous because it left long pieces of thread in her crib. She could have gotten wrapped up in it as she tossed and turned. The Leachco crib rail protector is less of an eyesore and DD hasn't figured out how to take it off, which is a plus. The velcro attachment faces outward from the crib, and when she's in the crib she can't see it to tell that it's there (she is obsessed with velcro, and it would have been bad news if she could reach it from within the crib.)The picture makes it look like the toy-holding loops face outward from the crib, but the loops are positioned at the top of the rail and can either be flipped into the crib or outward.We have a Graco Lauren crib and this cover fits it very well. The only problem is that the front cover has a velcro attachment in the very center, where there is also a vertical slat of wood. I had to attach this piece of velcro a little crookedly, but it's no big deal.It's too late to save our crib (thank goodness we didn't invest in a pricey one) but at least DD won't be ingesting varnish any longer!

I bought this after i found my son had been using the sides of his cot as a teether, chunks of veneer had been taken off.This has solved the problem completely, and being able to attach some toys means my son is entertained when he wakes easier than I would like.Only problem is, it does also get covered in snot!

I think this cover is great. i thought at first that i wanted it to have a few hidden velcro straps underneath the fabric so my son wouldn't pull on it but it is not necessary. the cover is very secure and my son doesn't seem to notice any of the straps.it is the perfect size for a US cot

An exellent choice. Its a perfect fit for my babies cot bed. His teethers fit perfect on it and it stops him from hurting himself. He loves it to. What more can i say apart from its a really good buy.

This product is awesome. Fits our boori sleigh cot bed perfectly. Its quite a long cot bed so pleasednit fits the full length. Very happy with product's fit. We have only just fitted it so time will tell if your son can get it off or not.

Very happy with this item, my little girl is teething at the moment and she would gnarl the cot sides and hurt her self, now she can do anything and I don't have to worry about her hurting herself.

I originally purchased the chocolate brown ones from toys r us and was impressed, so when I had a girl I wanted the white ones. These are very obvious knock offs!! The quality in comparison to the real leachco crib covers is astounding. These are thin, and made with awful material and when you touch the two side by side you can see the obvious difference. I compare the packaging and it's off because the one logo in the corner is not there with these ones. I recommend buying elsewhere, pay a bit more and buy from a store you can check quality at.

We have a huge Boori cot and it fits perfectly. Excellent product, I recommend it. Easy to remove for washing.
