The bolts on the back of the caliper that holds the caliper holder to the frame same thing. So it's great at getting screws and nuts that are almost impossible to get off without stripping this tool if used correctly will do it.I believe the item description is clear. Very good product **Q: Where is this made?** A: Not sure but its heavy duty and its good quality **Q: What are the bits made out of?** A: S2 Alloy Steel.Thank you for your question. **Q: Call me a dummy, but I could use more-specific instructions on how to set the direction of rotation. Anyone clarify?** A: You can push in the black end and twist. You'll feel it dip in, twist and then come up again on the other side of the mechanism. That has changed the direction of travel. You can do this while actually using it in most cases, as the stuck fastener will let you push and twist to the direction of travel you want to be in.
