Review: Saves time and money, well built and comfortable. - I actually have a set in so many of my other items are also black so I chose red so I could easily identify the spatula I wanted. These all have a specific purpose based on their shape and this one in particular that I never gave much thought to is this long thin one that I consider like a jar scraper, it's like a windshield wiper for your food cans so you can get as much out as you want instead of throwing away good product just because it's a pain to extract it all. Here is an example. Making my own spaghetti (Red) sauce I open several cans of sauce and tomato paste. The older cans I had a trick where I opened both ends of the can and used the lid to push thru to the other side cleaning out the can as good as possible but these newer cans you can't open both sides so I've used other types of spatulas without much success. This one here is like a windshield wiper just clearing the can as much as I would want and I didn't have to spend much time at all. It saved me time and money because I'm using all the product instead of throwing away even 1 ounce because over time if you make as much sauce as I do then sooner or later your throwing away an entire can. What I'm saying is these are great, well constructed very solid handles with holes should you wish to hang them, it's a nice feature when you want to hang something and there is no hole. I've used the largest spatula which is still small by most standards to help fill a pastry bag of whipped cream I made. It was a perfect size to still pick up a good amount and I could easily put it in the bag and not have to angle it so the sides didn't hit. If you are an avid cook then these all should be in your inventory and even if you are not these still have a purpose and they perform them perfectly. I chose these over many others because well they had the color I wanted, and bottom line is they were cheaper. Why spend $5 more for something you will not be able to distinguish one from the other and they don't do any better job, these feel great in the hand are comfortable and even with wet hands you won't lose your grip as they have a texture to them that I can only describe as flat paont. I see no reason these won't last a long time. I assume they are dishwasher safe but I usually like hand washing items like this because they clean up so quickly. If you don't have a set like this don't hesitate because they will come in handy. Review: My favorite spatulas! - I got a set of these as a gift and went and bought another set (now I have both gray and black). I’m very picky about my spatulas - specifically the stiffness, size, and weight and I love these! I use them for just about everything and love their high heat resistance - it makes for a worry free kitchen without having to separate cold utensils from hot utensils or worrying about them melting if they touch the side of a pan. The different sizes are perfect for a variety of uses! They clean super easily too! Hand wash or in a dishwasher. The reason I bought more was because I use them on the daily! I’ve bought these as gifts for people - they’re affordable, high quality, and have fun colors. ## Features - HIGH QUALITY FOOD GRADE MATERIAL: 100% made of Food Grade Silicone Material that is non-toxic, lead free, and odorless with smooth flexible thin edges that won't scratch or damage your pots and pans - SEAMLESS ONE PIECE DESIGN: Seamless one piece design is compact and sturdy, easy to clean, and non-stick with soft handle for better grip, noiseless and harmless for baking, cooking and mixing - HEAT RESISTANT UP TO 600F: Temperature resistant from -104F to 600F (-40C to 315C), providing reliable performance across a wide range of cooking temperatures for safe kitchen use - COMPLETE 5-PIECE SET: 1 set including 5 pieces - 1 x Medium Spatula Spreader/Knife 9.53x0.94 inches (24.21x2.39cm), 1 x Large Spoon Style Spatula 10.8x2.28 inches (27.43x5.79cm), 1 x Large Spatula 10.8x2.16 inches (27.43x5.49cm), 1 x Small Spatula 7.95x1.57 inches (20.19x3.99cm), 1 x Small Spoon Style Spatula 7.95x1.77 inches (20.19x4.5cm) with different sizes to meet different needs - EASY TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN: Dishwasher safe design makes cleanup effortless and is suitable for use with your nonstick cookware ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08YN88SJ2 | | Best Sellers Rank | #740 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #5 in Spatulas | | Brand | HOTEC | | Brand Name | HOTEC | | Color | Aqua Sky | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 39,697 Reviews | | Handle Material | Rubber,Silicone | | Included Components | Food Grade Silicone | | Item Dimensions L x W | 10.8"L x 2.28"W | | Item Highlight | BPA-Free, Dishwasher Safe Kitchen Cooking Spatulas, Baking, Mixing for Non Stick Cookware | | Item Weight | 10.88 ounces | | Manufacturer | HOTEC | | Manufacturer Part Number | SS5 | | Material | Silicone | | Material Type | Silicone | | Material Type Free | BPA Free, Lead Free | | Model Number | SS5 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 10.8"L x 2.28"W | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | Set of 5 | | Unit Count | 5 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** HOTEC - **Color:** Aqua Sky - **Item Weight:** 10.86 ounces - **Material:** Silicone - **Size:** 10.8 ## Images ![HOTEC 600℉ Heat Resistant Silicone Rubber Spatula Set, Aqua Sky, Set of 5 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617MvIoQ61L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: "Yes, I use them with my omelet pan all the time" I'm asking if the spoons will transfer *loose* food in substantial amounts?, not omelets.** A: I wouldn’t call them spoons. No,t hey won’t transfer substantial amounts of food at one time. But I love all the spatula—great for scraping every last bit of food out of a pan. **Q: Is tis a soft rubber or stiff silicone? I need one a little bit on the soft side so I can really scrape bowls etc.** A: Great question! I went back to study all the tools a bit closer. The blue skinny one has pliable edges on 3 sides…just enough for a mayo jar. The long scrapers (red, turquoise) have about 1 to 1 1/2” of softer/pliable silicon edges for bowls of all shapes. The shorter tools (orange, purple) measure out at 1” of softer silicone. Hope this helps. I use them ALL every day. **Q: Are the spoons deep enough to transfer food from a frying pan?** A: I don't think it would be safe to transfer food that's being fried using any of these spatulas. They are not spoons. The largest one is somewhat concaved but not enough to be used to transfer fried foods. **Q: Heat resistant? It states 104-600 degrees that’s a wide range. Why so vague? I want to use them in a cooking class and question the resilience.** A: -104℉~600℉(-40℃~315℃), mean low temperature -104℉ is ok too. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saves time and money, well built and comfortable. *by B***4 on July 12, 2025* I actually have a set in so many of my other items are also black so I chose red so I could easily identify the spatula I wanted. It has a reinforced bar in the handle so it has a nice heft and weight. No bad smells, it's just simply perfection. And the price? Amazing. Easy clean up.
