Do not throw away that HX600 because the Power Flip broke
My flip broke on my HX600. In reading reviews, it was unclear as to whether this would work so I bought a different Bluetooth as well as purchasing this replacement OEM. It is not perfect but actually works fine. It does not flip down flush as it is too long an the earpiece wrap blocks it but it closes enough to shut the device down for power. It sometimes wants to be in a half open/half closed position but simply shifting it works fine. I really like my HX600 so the very minor hassles this part presents are worth the effort over spending the money for a new device. This also seems to be a little thicker and more durable than the factory flip so I suspect it will last longer. If they shorten it a little it would fall flush to the actual device but then I would have to grab it by the sides to open which would tend to put more pressure on the attachment arms so keeping it with the flaw may actually work better as is but I do not plan to test this theory. Bottom line, it was a very cost effective purchase and Thrifty delivered on time and error free.

Doesn't really fit my HX600
The fit is too loose for the HX600, and the little "ear" that rotates the square on/off switch just bends out of the way so it may get stuck on or off or whatever. Nice idea but not quite right. The HX600 is my favorite headset. Trying to epoxy a piece of sewing pin to my broken one to act as a splint. We'll see.

Doesn't work on H19.
It isn't strong enough to enable the boom to work. It also doesn't close all the way.

So glad to have my Motorola Boom working again
I love my Motorola Boom as does my husband. The sound quality is excellent and if you have problems with hearing then it's the perfect Bluetooth for you. The only problem is the flip power boom eventually breaks and the more you use it the quicker it breaks. So I kept having to get new ones until I found this and luckily I'd saved every Motorola Boom. It was easy to install but the fit isn't just right on any of them. I have 6 of them. The flip boom is loose at the hinges where it flips open and closed. Also it doesn't close and sit flat as the original flip boom did and it seems to be a little longer than original so it hangs up on the ear piece. It being a little longer and not closing flat like originally was easy to figure out fixing that. If anyone has any suggestions on fixing the looseness at the hinges please I'm open to any ideas. I love my Motorola Boom and despite the small issues I'm so glad to have my Bluetooth back! No other Bluetooth has worked as well.

perfect fit
it was easy to put on My boom 2 I've had several other brands and 1 other Motorola boom 3 and will not buy any thing else it has the incoming fone number announce My boom 2 tells You the number of who is calling and if I don't know the number I don't waste my time answering it

Is it a perfect fit? No. Does it work perfectly? YES.
I snapped the mic boom off of my H-17 after four years of use. I NEED my H-17, because paired with my Galaxy phone, it's the only headset that's LOUD enough to hear in my noisy vehicle. When I ordered this, I was promised delivery within 7-10 (long, miserably silent) days without a headset. I received it IN TWO DAYS.It took about six seconds to install, and I tested it about 30 times - open, close, open, close, etc. It immediately worked. Period. Instantly turned on, instantly turned off. When in the off mode, it doesn't sit EXACTLY flat like the old one... the angle lays about 1/32" away from the main set, because the hinge area on the new piece has a rounded edge which bumps against the main unit...nothing that 20 seconds with an Xacto won't fix.I was so relieved that it worked, and brought my H-17 back to life, that I immediately purchased an additional one for the next time I snap it off.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Ordered these as spares.
I was down to my last power flip and wanted some more so I wouldn't be without when this one broke, and they do break as it's the nature of the design. They do give a relatively long performance. About a day after these arrived, you guessed it, the Boom 2 self-destructed internally. I now have 3 extra flips plus the one I had just installed and it appears the the Boom is no longer made using this type of flip. If I can find a new old stock Boom I will have these on hand. If I ever had to reorder these I certainly would as they have always worked well in the past.

A lifesaving replacement part!
Kudos to whoever is making these things! I love the Motorola boom 2 but the damn thing suffers from a very fragile power flip. I had thought that I'll end up buying another boom, but this replacement flip saved my Bluetooth handsfree and my money!
