Disconnect the stock power supply and connect with the dongar connector. Nice and low profile. Saves the hassles of running a wire to my fuse box for my dash cam. I have no issues with it overheating and no issues with the dash cam functioning. Dash cam shuts off when the vehicle is shut off and I have not experienced any battery drain. Works as it should with no errors. My auto dimming mirror still fully functional.
