They fit perfectly on the couple of different vehicles I've tried with no issues, and the straps are strong and reliable. I've used these same loops for years with great success, until a mishap from the wife while un-tethering led to one being launched into a river and lost forever, haha. Review: Easy to use - I use it to tie down my kayaks. Two to 4 kayaks can be hooked into each strap with a hook on the end of a rope. I used to use just plain straps that I screwed in under my hood but this is MUCH better! I can remove them easily instead of tucking my old straps under the hood. They work great! They are the right length and they are very sturdy. They should last almost forever!

A: I haven't measured them, but they work well in tandem with the straps I use to secure my kayak onto my vehicle. They also very good quality.

A: No, I use mine in the engine compartment all the time

**Q: Do i need to buy 2 sets to secure 2 kayaks?**
A: Not necessarily. I bought 2 sets for the front and the back of my car, but I’ve secured multiple kayaks using the same straps.

Perfect product. Works perfectly to tie down my 13' Brooklyn Kayak Company fishing kayak for my Mazda CX-5. I have one tie down under the trunk and one under the hood, about 50% of the way up the hood. They stay in place and I just leave them in all the time. Works exactly as advertised, fair price, everything's perfect.
