Review: Looks great, but not a beginners project - This murphy bed arrived in 8 large, heavy boxes and was delivered by a commercial company to the driveway. Getting inside the house is on you. May the odds be ever in your favor. Starting with box #1 was a good call and it had directions for the main bed section. Directions were, for the most part, easy to follow, but as with all flat-pack furniture, double checking front/back/left/right of pieces before you attach anything will save you many headaches. We made a couple of mistakes that we were able to easily remedy. This is definitely a two-person job. Some pieces are quite heavy or unwieldy and need coordinating. Also, this is not a quick job - it took us many hours over two days and we are experienced flat-packers and DIY-ers. Noobs be wary and/or hire a professional. The two side shelving units were a breeze to assemble, though one piece came damaged. PROS: This thing is really sturdy! Looks great Functions well, smooth open/close Overall ease of assembly - it's not complex, per se, just many, many steps CONS: Delivery - would have been great to at least get inside Damaged piece Time - it's a monster to assemble Overall - recommend. A nice product. If we move, I have no idea how we'll get it out of my house.

Only recommendation I'd give is have screws not being screwed directly into wood. I over tightened the face plates and now there is a gap. I added wood glue and rescrewed into it. So it's still a bit unstable, but doesn't look bad!

This murphy bed arrived in 8 large, heavy boxes and was delivered by a commercial company to the driveway. Getting inside the house is on you. May the odds be ever in your favor. Looks amazing. Works great and company had amazing customer service. One of the pistons popped and the replaced it no problem. I haven't had an issue with it since. Looks Nice, but Major Issues with Fit and Finish I really wanted to love this Murphy bed—it has a great concept and visually fits the style of my space. However, several issues made the experience frustrating. First, the dimensions were off from what was listed, which caused installation problems and required some unexpected adjustments. The bed frame itself was too long for outer frame. Additionally, the doors don’t align properly—they hang unevenly, which detracts from the overall appearance. The top panel also started to come loose within the first few hours, which was disappointing given the price. On the plus side, the materials feel sturdy and the idea behind the design is solid, but the execution just wasn’t up to par. If the manufacturer addresses these quality control issues, this could be a great product. As it stands, it's usable—but not without headaches.
