**Q: Are the wheels included in the measurements?  Or do they extend beyond the 22" allowed on many airlines?**
A: The bag I received measured 21 x 14 x 9 (unpacked, wheels to handles).  Packed it would be slightly deeper than 9" (perhaps 10"  up to 13", if extended ).  Delta Airlines allows carry-on size of "approximately 22 x 14 x 9."  Approximately means approximately.  An inch probably won't make a lot of difference. Other airlines vary in carry-on requirements.  Southwest, for example, allows 24 x 16 x 10.  All aircraft overheads are not created equal, however.  If the airline is concerned, they will measure, and if it doesn't meet the overhead allowance for that aircraft, will normally allow you to check you bag (usually for free) at the boarding gate; you will pick it up at baggage claim.  If the airplane is full, overhead space will be tight and airlines will typically ask people to check carry-ons at the gate whenever possible.  I almost always check my carry-on at the gate, so I don't have to mess with the overhead, and keep all my essentials at hand in my personal bag allowance.

**Q: Can you somehow attach the smaller one to the larger one so you can pull them at once?**
A: There is a fabric band across the back of the smaller bag that allows it to be placed over the handle of the large bag in order to pull the bags together.

**Q: Can this suitcase stand up on its own or does it fall over easily?**
A: This bag falls over forward. It does not remain upright on its on. I am replacing it for that reason.

I love this suitcase and bag. The suitcase holds a lot of clothes. I've traveled 2x in the past month and it has been perfect for my short trips. It is also easy to spot at the airport. The bag is cute and comfortable. I put all of my travel documents and some extra clothes in there (just in case my suitcase got lost). I love the material, it's sturdy and seems durable. I bought the 21/14 set in May 2025 and have used it multiple times since - mostly for multi-day road trips with a couple of long-distance flight trips. In other words, the set has seen varied uses and handling. More than a year later I can say that I am still delighted with this purchase. The luggage is very lightweight (even a Bellagio bellhop made a positive comment), which really helps with the maneuverability and, despite my rough treatment banging up and down curbs, etc., is holding up well with nothing broken while still looking almost-new. Some reviewers have commented that it falls over easily and it can when the tote is on top, but I haven't found this to be that big of a deal - I just lean it against the car or a chair or something if needed. My biggest complaint is that the tote's shoulder strap is not removable, it's sewn in at the sides. So, if you want the shoulder strap out of the way, it has to be tucked into the tote, which then means the tote can't be zipped closed. Regardless, it's a good, roomy set. As an idea, I took a 9-day trip, fit everything I needed into the bags, and took both bags onto the plane with me - the case as a carry-on and the tote as a personal item, easily fitting under the seat in front of me. Well worth the money.
