Review: Stable and versatile for personal use - I purchased the 13' ladder. I bought it only for personal use around the house/outside, and I have owned it for a couple of weeks. As an average/slightly short woman, the ladder is slightly heavier than I'd like but not unwieldy and actually far lighter than it looks. It is very easy to adjust between all the lengths/shapes. It also comes with a small instruction booklet detailing all of the positions and how to achieve them. It is good on stairs and very stable. Once locked into a position it is truly 'locked' and does not wobble or slide on the ground. My only complaint is that I wish the rungs/steps were slightly wider. When I use the 90degree angle to paint near the ceiling (so much better than trying to twist or reach on a standard ladder) I have to get creative in where to put the paint bucket. But I'll take the lighter weight as a good compromise. Overall, I think this is a very nice quality ladder. It is expensive, but as homeowner I am always in need of a ladder at short notice. Between the versatility and material quality, I suspect it will pay for itself over many years of use. Besides, it's hard to put a price on piece-of-mind when many of the cheaper ladders out there are so unsteady. So far it has been used to paint, change ceiling lights and fans, clean gutters, and trim trees. *For clarification, the ladder length is measured fully extended; it is not the height while in "A" frame (which is just over 6'.) Also, the 13' version does not have wheels as described in the video. Those are only on the larger ladders. Edit 6/30/15: I just received an email from desertcart's customer service. There is a replacement wheel accessory kit for Little Giant ladders. Because the description page was misleading, I was issued a credit to order the kit. I did not contact customer service about this, as I feel that it is small enough not to need wheels. Yet another reason I love desertcart!
Review: Wow!!! - Not all Ladders were created equal, who knew? After hearing great things about this company and really needing a Good, Solid Ladder, I did my research and went with the Little Giant 17 foot Velocity and I am completely shocked by what a difference a good solid ladder makes plus, blown away by the quality, versatility and even the accessories offered. There are even video tutorials on YouTube from the company as well as videos from many other Happy Customers too. I feel so much safer since I purchased this ladder as it makes jobs I used to fear, like cleaning out my gutters, so much easier now compared to my older ladder and the way it would shake, even start to give slightly when I got higher up, that’s what was causing my fears and rightfully so. This Ladder offers different ways to use it and I no longer fear cleaning my gutters (I didn’t say I like cleaning gutters, just that this ladder is planted so solidly and stays securely in place that my fear is gone, total game changer). You get what you pay for and while these ladders are a bit higher than the cheap ones, the others are just that “cheap ones”. It’s hard to talk about ladders, I mean it’s a ladder right? That’s what I used to think but, not anymore so, I recommend you check out a few of the ladder reviews on YouTube, not from any of the Companies but, the “Handyman Types” with their comparisons and then see what you think. I also recommend you watch the “Little Giant” videos as they have several types of ladders to choose from. I thought buying a ladder was as simple as going to Home Depot or similar and looking for the height you need and pick between metal or wood but, I was very very wrong. A Ladder is something you should buy only once as it should last a lifetime and cover all your needs and future needs too. Do your research, buy a Quality Ladder, it might cost you a bit more but, buy once and it should be the last ladder you buy, at least that’s my feeling now since this purchase. It sounds a bit ridiculous as we are talking about a Ladder yet, I was and still am extremely happy with the purchase of my Little Giant Velocity 17 foot ladder and I still smile every time I take it out and use it (sounds crazy right? Still true and I’m not a crazy person, I think I’m not, I hope…, lol). I purchased the 13' ladder. I bought it only for personal use around the house/outside, and I have owned it for a couple of weeks. It also comes with a small instruction booklet detailing all of the positions and how to achieve them. It is good on stairs and very stable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Ladder!

Just wanted to say we are very pleased with the 26' Little Giant. Hubby & I have been considering purchasing one for years and with the heavy rain and gutters that needed cleaning we decided to give it a try when a little plant decided it had found a good home. : ) The ladder's learning curve was about 10 minutes - the instructions are very easy to follow...even for a girly girl and the rungs have a great secure-sounding clank when they're properly locked into place. 5 Stars - the top priority for a ladder in my view is to feel secure when using it & I didn't have any worries or fear. It's solid. The only "down" sides are that singularly the rungs are a little thin (I have size 7 feet). When doubled they're fine. Given the construction it totally makes sense why they're thin and I wouldn't change a thing - just be prepared for it. As others have mentioned, the ladder is quite heavy - 50lbs doesn't sound too bad until you consider it's a large object but just fold it up and drag it along via the wheels and relocating it is a breeze. Overall, we're very please with the investment and in an afternoon addressed a number of home maintenance tasks that we'd put on hold for a quite a while. Thanks to the company for creating something so ideal for the common homeowner. :)
