Hyland's Homeopathic Baby Colic Tablets, 125 Count

Now that my son is almost a year and a half, it's easier to administer these dissolveable tablets than to give him gripe water for gas. As a younger baby, I would use a syringe to give gripe water, but now he turns his head and doesn't want it. Also, if he wakes up in the middle of the night with gas, it down't wake him up to put a couple of these just inside his mouth where they immediately melt. They work very well to ease gas pains. He often gets gassy after trying new fresh fruit and on those nights I just give him a couple of these at bedtime to help with digestion. They're natural and safe. I do recommend reading a book or two about the administration of homeopathic medicine to children though, just so parents understand the sysytem behind herbal meds.

My boy didn't really have colic I don't believe, but he definitely had a fussy time in the evening. We would give him one of these at that start of him fussing and it did seem to shorten the time of him crying. I purchased these based on all the good reviews and I felt compelled to add my own review. I don't fully understand how homeopathic medicine works other than I know it works. When my baby is fussy due to gas pain this brings relief.

Be careful if I think your baby has lactose issues which many do but people don't realize, hylands products have inactive ingredient of lactose in it. I kept using their products in hopes to help my baby alleviate his gas however just made it worse where he would push and push day and night. Took me a while but figured it out!!

My LO didnt seem to have any relief with these, compared to the calming tablets it seems those work better than the colic tablets.
