RCA Digital TV Converter Box Remote Control RC27A for DTA800 DTA800B DTA800B1--Sold exclusively by "Sourcing Remote"

It works fine at changing channels, and running scans. I was able to find 16 channels with good reception. BUT after putting in each of the three codes that apply to the TV I am using, It will not allow me to control both volume and "off/on" with one remote control. At the end of the instructions it says "you can always use it in conjunction with your TV remote" Don't say it will perform a specific function when it can't. So now I turn the TV on/off and change audio volume with the TV remote and turn the box on/off and change channels with the box remote.

This remote works exactly like my old original remote. Problem: no paper sheet with the various TV brands 3 digital programing codes included. One needs to look up the remote on line to find an on line list of 3 digit TV brand codes.On line there is also a video of how to program the remote too.

I couldn't believe when I received this, all I had to do is put in batteries and it worked. Loved this and would recommend it to everyone that needs an extra remote or replace a remote.

This product didn't work with the converter box it was intended for. Customer service tried diligently to help, but to no avail. Return was very simple and so that's what I did.

Lost my remote to the ‘box’ for an old TV used with an antenna. Found the one I needed on Amazon; exactly the same as the lost one .

I had to replace my universal remote and I wanted the same one. So happy Amazon had the exact replacement. It works just like the original, however the volume button no longer works after a week of use. So sad to report, this product didn’t lady. I would not recommend purchasing this product. Off to look for a new universal remote.
