While I'm using it for my work lunch I'm sure it would be great for hiking and other activities where you'd want a sturdy food container. Overall, I'm really glad I went with my gut and bought this. This one is my favorite, more than the larger double price one! I think I’ll buy one for myself. Bought the two compartment and I cut the sandwich in half and put half on each side. I only put a sandwich and cheese stick in this and the seal isn’t lock tight but stays on fine.
