The spirally handles of the dotting tools are kinda beautiful and hypnotizing if you spin them. This is not relevant to the review, per say, but I noticed it and it made me happy so I figured I'd include it. They didn't *need* to be pretty but they are. :) Brush bristles need to be rinsed before use, which is true for most paint brushes that arrive "crispy" (it's a preservative, it's normal.) I have not noticed any bristles dropping, or fraying.
