I have been looking for just the right headboard for a couple of years now, and I fell in love with this one. It was a lot of money for me, but I had to take a chance on it, and I am so glad I did. When I unpacked it, the beautiful smell of wood filled our room. Per the directions, we laid out the panels flat on the floor for a few days to let the wood adjust to our high humidity are a and the air conditioned, drier air of the house. Make sure you have a place to do this as it comes in 5 long and heavy panels. We laid newspaper down and laid them on it under the bed and in the adjoining large bathroom area, and then left them that way while on vaca. When we got back, we got to set to hang the panels. It comes with hardware and small hangars to screw to the back. However, they are pretty heavy. We used a stud finder and marked the studs and the position we wanted it on the wall. Then we just used long, thin screws and drilled them into the wall. We aren't moving now lol! Even my husband loves it, and he's not a boho guy. We recently had a bunch of people over and it definitely had a wow factor. We love it so much...thank you!
