**Q: Let me try to re-phrase my question in regards to the cap on the twist off cap version. When you take the cap off, can you place the cap on the back?**
A: no, but it's a really nice pen, I have the fountain pen

**Q: Does the cap snap on back while using it?**
A: I believe it does. This was a gift so I don't have access to it. I would recommend you buy screw on caps which will be more secure.

**Q: Dropped the fountain pen on the floor, and the nib bent. I know I can't change the nib. Can the pen be sent to manufacturer to get the nib changed?**
A: you can send it to the Fountain Pen Hospital... it's located in NY, but the info's online and you mail it there.  It would be easier if you bought a new number 6 size nib and installed it yourself... It's not that hard, I do it all the time myself ... pick one out at Goulet Pens or amazon or Fountain Pen Revolution... all on line.  You can also google a youtube on how to do it and it's easy...
