RED HEART Boutique Ribbons Yarn, Aurora

I really love this ribbon yarn. I use it in my tapestry weaving. I just wish I could get more of the fire-color.It is a little difficult to use but the outcome is beautiful whether crocheting or weaving. I like this media because it presents a different artistic form of art.

For me, it took 3 bundles to make a ten row scarf. It turns out beautiful thick and so soft... You do have to unwrap the bundle and wind it on a stuff piece of card board or paper as it is somewhat a tangled mess and not ready to use off the bundle. If you do that ahead of knitting or using a pegged loom such as I used, the project goes much easier.

I love this yarn. Makes a beautiful scarf. You knit it in the same way as when using the Starbella or Sundance yarns but the effect is totally different. Starbella scarfs would be an everyday scarf where as the Red Heard Ribbon Yarn would be used for special occasions or more for dress up outings or if you just want to impress someone. I bought every color they offered I like it so much. I am now wondering if there are other ways you could use this yarn, hummmm.....I'll have to check....

This has to be pulled apart and put back together, but it makes awesome scarves.

I am a beginner so it is a little difficult to use but once you get going it is better. It does make a beautiful scarf and it works great as trim on other things. I would definitely buy it again!

The yarn was all knotted up and strings of thread were tied all around the skein. Took me forever to get it undone and straighten out.

i am sorry bought for a friend to knit up but she did not like it it did not curl she is very disapointed
