I also feel like you get a good variety of colors for any occasion - you get two reds, three pinks, two mauves, three brown/tans, one espresso, and one black lip liner. The texture is very similar to the NYX pencil liners, however, I found these to be softer and smoother. They glide on nicely, and it’s really easy to build up the colors if you want it to show up a bit more intensely. Also very easy to smooth out with a brush or your finger. There are some liners that dry down and stay put right away, which can sometimes be a bad thing since I feel like liners that dry down 100% aren’t easy to work with. These stay soft and blendable, which I personally like, but can be an issue if you’re expecting something 100% smudge-proof. I swatched these on my arm and was able to easily smear them with my finger. Again, not a huge issue for me, but can be a problem for some. Goes on smoothly--but definitely leans more pencil than crayon in terms of texture. The pigment of especially the redder tones is satisfactory for coloring in the lips as a layer to cover with gloss or, to create a new tone, lipstick. The pencils don't necessarily sharpen well (prone to breaking so have to sharpen again to get a usable tip, meaning preferred colors can become stubs quickly).
