The plants seem happier!
These worked perfect in my AeroGarden! I was a little concerned about buying light bulbs that would have to be mailed but at this price, these were well worth the gamble. They arrived in heavy cardboard, individually packaged, with sleeves that prevented them from being jostled in their boxes. The bulbs popped right in and that was that! These replaced old MG bulbs and the difference in light output was astonishing.

if you are willing to roll the dice they are a good buy. i ended up paying about the same ...
These lights are indeed a direct replacement for the tubes that came on my AeroGarden Space saver 6. unlike others i do not notice a difference in light output. they appear to be about the same. Unfortunately one of my bulbs lasted less than a day. I guess you do get what you pay for. SO, if you are willing to roll the dice they are a good buy. i ended up paying about the same as a real AeroGarden bulb.

Correction to earlier negative review
I originally said the bulb lasted 3 days...not so...we had a momentary power and outage which affected the timer. So far the bulb is great and my seeds are germinating. My fault.

Fits and works like the original for half the price
Fits and works like the original for half the price!Kept the original tubes until they burned out; these are considerably brighter than the 2 1/2 year tubes they replaced (admittedly way past their lifetime), and our plants are growing noticeably faster. Should have swapped them out sooner. We'll see how long these last but after a couple days we're happy (non-medicinal) herb growers.

Bright, affordable, and secure - great replacement Aerogarden lights!
These work really well. They are very bright and fit securely into my Aerogarden Space Saver 6 Elite (discontinued 2010 model). I cannot yet comment on longevity beyond saying that I purchased these in January, and they are still going strong in July. I expect them to last much longer, obviously, but will update if I have any issues. Great price, too!

Doesn't fit tightly but works well!
They don't fit great in my old AeroGarden but they work great even without fitting tightly. The plants love them!

Miracle-Gro has a captive market and these and therefore is gouging on the price.
