Good Quality Dash Cam
There seems to be loads of these on the market, various prices, some very cheap and some expensive, I’d wanted one for a while, thought it seemed to be a good idea with the way the roads are, I travel a fair bit probably around 500 miles a week, and have see some very crazy drivers.First impressions are of a very well made Camera, some weight to it, good clear display, I’ve set mine to start recording when it senses movement which I thought was a great feature. Quality of recording is better than average. Its feature packed, and quick pictures are easy to take, can be used at night, The quality of the recording is exceptionally good. When I played it back on my TV I was shocked how clear it was with no jumps, shakes or wobbles. Number plates are easy to make out and pausing the action provides a perfect still. No problems plugging it straight into my computer as it just picks up windows media player and works immediately.its simply brilliant

Good dash cam overall
Good dash cam overall+ I haven't taken videos out and tested them on my computer, although it records fine, and has a decent screen, good wide angle and decent frame rate, also records when there's movement detection.+ Good build quality, feels solid and easy to hold+ Movement sensors work well+ Instructions and manual were decent+ Competitive for the price.+ Mounting device works well.+ Many small features- Menus were hard to navigate, in my opinion and there is a lot of buttons, not very user friendly.- SD card is hard to put in and out- Holds up to only 32GB SD cards, which is about 2 hours of full quality recording, should be able to hold more.

Big waste of my time
One big fat LIE. Amazon, why do you let the manufacturer post these fake positive reviews for themselves. Big waste of my time. The video quality is horrible. There is no resolution at all. It is impossible to read tag numbers or street signs. The item says it has a F1.6, six layer lens made by Micron in the USA. Another big fat lie. The purpose of a nice lens is to cut down on glare. With this camera, all headlights glare so badly you can barely see the car behind them. I am so sick of sellers posting fake positive reviews hoping someone will buy this crap and keep it. By the way, the display lost pixels on day one. Save yourself time and effort and DO NOT BUY THIS FAKE, USELESS PRODUCT. THANKS FOR NOTHING. HERE IS A VIDEO PROVING HOW TERRIBLE THE VIDEO IS. THIS WAS ON THE HIGHEST SETTING.

Things to Consider
Just received camera. First and foremost, the user manual is a BEAST! Might be worth spending more for a camera with simple detailed directions. Nothing in the manual is explained. For example, what’s “Cycle Recording?” Is that “Loop recording?” The menus are close to impossible to navigate if you choose to edit some settings. You can view your videos by connecting the camera to your computer with a mini-to-USB cable to view, delete or archive your recordings, but when you eject the camera often the screen freezes and to proceed you must push the “Reset” button to restart camera.Camera has nice build quality and videos are excellent. If you like to get into the menus you’re in for a battle because of the very poorly written manual. Seems like the default recording is one file every 60 seconds. If you have a 32 GB card that could be 3 hours of files, which could be 180 files. How long will it take you to go through 180 files to find the one you want. So, it would be better to change the recording time option, to what I think would be the “Loop recording time” from 1 minute to maybe 5. Good luck finding the menu for that. I’ve read some review downgrading the manual but didn’t think it was that bad--it is.Good luck getting the SDHC card in. No directions to which side should be facing the front of the camera and it’s not easy to insert. To remove, the directions state to “push” down to get it out. Unfortunately the card is flush with the camera body and you need a small tool to push it down. Docs also remind you that if not inserted correctly you could damage the card and/or camera. In conclusion, it would probably be worth paying $20 more for a camera with a easy to navigate menus as long as the picture quality is comparable.
