## Description

Minimize dust on the job with the Bosch HDC250 SDS-max Hammer Dust Collection Attachment. Designed for drilling with carbide tipped or diamond core bits up to 6-inches in diameter, but optimized for drilling from 1-1/2-Inch to 5-Inches. The HDC250 can accommodate up to 6-Inches in diameter when the brush ring is removed. Dual air chambers and a rubber seal maintain suction and collect dust during drilling applications. Fits 1-3/8-Inch vacuum hose nozzles and is compatible with the snap-in connector on the Bosch VAC Series Dust Extractors. Optional adaptors available for 1-1/4-Inch and 2-Inch hose nozzles.

Make sure the surface you place it on is reasonably flat in order for the vacuum suction to keep it in place. It does work for overhead drilling as well, but won't be as convenient compared to the normal horizontal and downwards positions. This is not a shortcoming of the accessory, but rather the weight of the rotary hammer and trying to keep it in a vertical position. The included adapter will fit standard shop-vac type hoses. If you are connecting a hose with non-standard ends, then this may present a problem. The easy fix might be some duct tape, but it's better to source the right fitting. There are available various inexpensive shop-vac reducing adapters for attaching to smaller diameter hoses. This dust shroud is well made. The flexible rubber seal is of good quality, and can be replaced if damaged. The body is of rigid, glass-filled nylon.
