I have a dozen egg-laying hens, four ducks, and six cats (and about 20 wild hens and roosters that act like they own my backyard farm). All these animals create for a ton of flies. I've used many different methods/products, but nothing has been effective as this fly paper which has put a serious dent in the fly population. If you are trying to catch a smaller amount of flies, like the occasional 1 - 5 flies bugging you in your home, this will not work as well. But, if you are trying to catch Exodus-level plague of flies, this fly paper will totally work even when it rains and then dries - it still catches insects. It tears very easily, so you don't even need to use a scissors.
