It is a true damascus in the manufacturing as can be seen when looked at under closer conditions. My first damascus I believe is a damascus., solid. The irregularities of handmade knives is present and i value that. Blade is thicker than youll ever need. It fits well in my hand giving me confidence im in control of the knife.
