INSINKERATOR. KITCHEN BETTER. From the Manufacturer The InSinkErator stopper is designed to stop water and food particles from going down the drain. For use on all In-Sink-Erator manufactured disposers. Please note that use of abrasive cleaning solutions may harm this product's finish. Review: It is lovely and will fit your standard sink drain perfectly. - It is just beautiful and perfect! Matches the sink drain rim to perfection! Highly recommend! Review: I had to return it - I returned it, but not because it wasn't beautiful, sturdy and valuable...but because I couldn't find a single faucet that I could match it to. The color was beautiful and both the flange and the flange cover (which I guess are sold separately, and I also purchased) and would have matched everything else in my kitchen...but alas, I had to opt for an all black faucet, so I went with the black flange and cover. I really wanted a black and gold faucet, but all the options I found, the gold color was either too light or too dark or too dusty, old and off. I highly recommend this product, if you can match it with a nice gold faucet. ## Features - INSINKERATOR STP-FG KITCHEN SINK DRAIN COVER: One 3.25-in by 1-in INSINKERATOR stopper in French Gold finish - DURABLE DESIGN: INSINKERATOR sink stopper for garbage disposal made of durable stainless steel to handle common kitchen cleanups and keep water and food particles out of the drain - STYLISH AND COMPLEMENTARY: Decorative sink stopper available in a variety of finishes to match your kitchen decor, adding an elegant touch to the kitchen sink; coordinating garbage disposal flange and sink-top push button switch also available - DESIGNED FOR COMPATIBILITY AND EASY OF USE: Compatible with any INSINKERATOR-manufactured sink disposal; kitchen sink drain plug that is easy to insert and remove - PRESERVING ELEGANCE: Abrasive cleaning solutions not recommended to avoid possibility of harming finish on INSINKERATOR kitchen sink stopper for garbage disposal ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002I631IM | | Best Sellers Rank | #223,114 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #248 in Garbage Disposal Parts | | Brand | InSinkErator | | Brand Name | InSinkErator | | Color | French Gold | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 403 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00050375009504 | | Item Type Name | Sink Stopper | | Item Weight | 2.4 ounces | | Manufacturer | InSinkErator | | Manufacturer Part Number | STP-FG | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Na. | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | STP-FG, French Gold | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 343538964742 756655481786 370114862611 050375009504 300717497149 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** InSinkErator - **Color:** French Gold - **Item Weight:** 0.15 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **UPC:** 343538964742 756655481786 370114862611 050375009504 300717497149 ## Images ![InSinkErator Garbage Disposal Kitchen Sink Stopper, Fits Standard Kitchen Drain Size of 3 1/2-Inch Diameter, STP-FG, French Gold - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jCzCki+NL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what are the dimensions? This seems to be a bit large** A: There are (2) dimensions. Inner seal is a 3 inch diameter seal, which sits inside the basket. The second dimension is the overall "lip" which seals the inner seal of the basket; 3 1/4 inch diameter. **Q: why can this plug not be shipped to a California address?** A: I ship to California addresses. I live in California **Q: Does this stopper fit down into the drain, or at the top of the drain so that it sticks out into the basin of the sink?** A: Inner flange diameter - 3 1/8". Outer diameter - barely greater than 3 1/4" (not a full 3 5/16"). It sticks up into the basin of my sink, and barely provides a seal so that the most minor bump to it results in a leak. The inner flange rests within the drain, but the out flange keeps it from resting down inside the drain. **Q: Is this easier to pull out than the plastic stopper?** A: I have no problem pulling out the InSinkErator STP-SS what-so-ever. If you are having a problem breaking the suction, you can simply open drain function with this stopper. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is lovely and will fit your standard sink drain perfectly. *by P***N on December 18, 2025* It is just beautiful and perfect! Matches the sink drain rim to perfection! Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had to return it *by D***L on March 4, 2024* I returned it, but not because it wasn't beautiful, sturdy and valuable...but because I couldn't find a single faucet that I could match it to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cool. Quality color. *by M***V on March 19, 2018* It is exactly what we wanted for someone we see on the counter all day. You could get it cheaper, but since it was the exact color we wanted, spending another hour to save a few dollars was not a good use of my time. This one has a great quality color. It of course works great also. All the colors work the same I am sure, and many are cheaper. But this one is cool if you want to be more cool than the average person stopping a drain. ## Frequently Bought Together - Insinkerator STP-FG, French Gold Garbage Disposal, Fits Standard Kitchen Drain Size of 3 1/2 Inch Diameter Sink Stopper - InSinkErator Sink Flange, French Gold, FLG-FG - InSinkErator Air Switch Decorative Button for InSinkErator Dual Outlet Garbage Disposal Air Switch Kit, (1.3 x 0.8 x 1.7 inches) STC-FG, French Gold (Shiny) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/34236377-insinkerator-garbage-disposal-kitchen-sink-stopper-fits-standard-kitchen-drain](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/34236377-insinkerator-garbage-disposal-kitchen-sink-stopper-fits-standard-kitchen-drain) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
