Buyer beware
The plug on this is not for use in an American outlet. I reread the description and didn't see anywhere it said it would not work in a regular outlet. So, just read the description before you purchase. Also noticed after I got it that there were NO reviews in the USA. Should have been more careful.

Came with a European plug. So frustrating!!!!
Not American household plug!!! All set up for the job unboxed this and now have to run to Lowe's to get something different. Don't buy this!

Looks like a great product and was excited to use it but turns out it has a European plug and does not work in North America. Does not indicate anywhere on the ad the type of plug....beware buyers located in North America!

Brilliant piece of equipment
As always with Black & Decker, well made, looks good, easy to use and a pperfect addition to an one who does DIY at home. We had a very easy time stripping our hall way, which had 3 layers of wallpaper and is now looking lovely and new, and bright again ... next job the lounge .... ! PS great delivery service from Amazon as well.

Genial
Die Fläche, die ich mit Tapetenablöser in 7 Std freigelegt hatte, hatte ich mit dem Dampfablöser in 2 Std erledigt. Man braucht etwas bis man die Technik raus hat, aber dann ist es einfach perfekt. Einzig die Info mit dem US- Stecker fehlt in der Beschreibung und könnte mal nachgearbeitet werden. Ich hatte es vorab in den Bewertungen gelesen und gleich den entsprechenden Adapter dazu gekauft.
