I put it on my scalp and it does not even get greasy, just super shiny. mom even used it with fenugreek powder for a hair mask. she usually complains it made her hair too oily. not this time. she loved it. love it. FUNNY UPDATE: if you have a dog, beware may be chased all over the house. I was putting this on after a shower and my pug ran right over and kept trying to lick my legs, my feet, until I realized oh, it's the oil. He has put it in his memory, so much so, I cant open it in front of him, he waits for the noise of me opening the bottle. Wakes him from a deep sleep, so he can try to get some. I see that it's currently unavailable. I just ordered my second one a few days before this and i was coming back to order a third. I fear, if I dont get another one, I'll have to deal w my pouty pug. He loves this above all else and bc of allergies, he eats lamb and duck, he knows the good stuff

A: I just looked it up online asking your question.....Would WALNUT OIL work to paint with oil pastels.  THIS IS WAHT IT SAID.  " Artists use linseed oil or walnut oil for blending oil pastel. However, they leave a slightly yellow color that may change the composition of the painting. Another low-cost alternative is using baby oil or mineral oil."

Great product. I never really found a carrier oil that I preferred over the others. this is definitely my favorite. the consistency is perfect. not too oily and not too thick.
