Best bang for your buck! I give a detailed description of everything you need to know before buying these. Happy Customer :)
Amazing headset. Granted I transitioned from a subpar set, but still, these are really great.A few tips I'd give that will go against most of the statements on here. I'm not sure who gives these reviews but either they only have thumbs or life just isn't very nice to them, cuz they talk about this set like it's some kind of contraption sent from outer-space that they are experimenting on in a lab.HEADPHONES- the headphones will only slip off your head (the way they come, with the on-ear pads) if you are thrashing to screamo heavy metal. I have no idea what is occurring with these people that say they just move their head ever-so-slightly and the headphones come flying off. They are a snug fit. They are not over the ear, so given enough effort they could slip off your head - at which point I would suggest taking the headphones off while you do whatever you're doing that causes that much head movement. Last I checked watching television on the couch is a pretty stationary activity.- you CAN switch out the on-ear pads for over the ear ones. These ---> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CL9ZXNQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3. You just have to peel off the on-ears and slip these on over the plastic harness part of the earpiece. The reviews and descriptions of the product will give you good insight into how these go on. Frankly, I was expecting the on-ears to be uncomfortable over time, but they are very soft material and sit well as to cause no discomfort.- The controls on the headphones are pretty straightforward. The only function I would say takes a little finagling is the "tuner". For each 3 "channels" on the base, there are 3 points of reception on the headphones. So you'll notice that if you're on the 1st "channel" (furthest to the left on the base) you'll need to scroll the tuner all the way to one direction. Once you're there you just move it very slightly until you get clear reception. There is actually two points of reception in each channel, the first part you get to when scrolling the "tuner" is clear, but it's not the studio sound you'll get if you scroll just a little bit further. It's like a "dampened" version of the sound. The tuner works just like an old fashion radio. Just scroll it to find the channel you want to listen to - in this case - the channel (1, 2, or 3) your base is set to.*** There is a slight crackeling in the reception - even after you've found the perfect spot. Give it time, that will go away after an hour or so and won't come back. I noticed it only initially and haven't noticed it anymore since the first use. It's very slight, you might not even notice it, but just a heads-up in case you do. Nothing to worry about.BASE- The base is sturdy as I mentioned before.- It has 3 "channel" options. Since this is running an RF (radio frequency) signal you'll just need to find one of the 3 that doesn't have any interference. You might not get any interference with any of the channels, just depends on your environment.- If you are wanting to connect this base to a XBOX, Playstation or any other device that only has audio cable outs and not actually ports in the back, you'll just need to get a set of these --> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MKE6B2/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4 The base only has 2 male RCA cables. So if the device you're trying to connect to only has male audio cables and no female options (like the XBOX360) you'll need these adapters.*** the "power on" light is hit or miss - not sure if it's just mine. But the light being on has had nothing to do with it actually being on. Just the light intermittently turns on or off on its own. Maybe there's a function behind that, not sure. Either way it's on regardless of the light.CHARGING- you CAN charge both headphones on the base at the same time. No it's not built to "easily" hold two, but there is enough metal on the top portion to accommodate two sets. I've added a picture to show how I did it on mine. It works just fine, charges them both the same. The metal on the headphones just needs to touch the metal on the base - it doesn't have to make a complete contact with the entire metal portion on the headphones. Just has to touch. :) So DON'T go buying another base just to charge the phones - that would be a waste of money. The batteries are just rechargeable - don't buy the hype that you have to buy some special $65 batteries. The ones that come with it will last a long time, so nothing to worry about now anyways.I researched (in detail) every comparable headphone option out there and these beat them all. If you look up any list of "top 10" headphones, these will be 1, 2 or 3. Only beat buy ones that cost a ton - but that doesn't mean much. I mean Beats headphones cost a ton and they are some of the most low grade, plastic (weighted with metal to make them "feel" more expensive) headphones on the market. You will not be disappointed!

Great combo for two people.
Light and easy to use. With the extra headset two people can be served.
