My sister originally got me a smaller set when my daughter was one, so they were the only crayons she’s ever used. She is now two and a half. A few months ago I got her makers and a starter pencil to start practicing writing and I realized that her fingers were perfectly placed, which is unusual for a child. As a elementary school teacher I tried to figure out how she’s holding her pencil and markers in perfect writing form and I truly honest believe it is because I started her on these crayons and only these crayons. They force their fingers to hold it in writing form instead of in a fist form.
