In saying that, I got caught in a downpour without my wet gear in the car, when taking my dog for a walk recently. I decided to give it a go, and it kept me warm and dry for a 10km walk around a forest walkway/path. I wouldn't hike in it or exert myself in it too much as I'd be concerned I'd sweat into the fleece too much. I've since gone to the local green in it with the dog, and have no complaints. But the robe has plenty of room inside for getting changed at the sea/lake side and lots of handy pockets for keeping your keys and bits in. The zip works easily and rotates to the inside of coat so u can use with ease...has a nice big hood to shield your head from the wind/rain.So much more reasonable in price than a dry robe & the quality is just as good...
