If you use hairspray on the curl itll last longer too. But it does a good job on its own for curls. **Q: Why is this only $20? The one I bought in the mall was $120! It's supposed to be the same product, but is it?** A: Me too!! $120 bucks at the mall. Just dropped it and broke it after seven years of use. Found them on amazon (herstyler isn't at my mall anymore) and bought 2 of them for $23.00 each. :) One for my house and one to keep over my friend's that I stay at all the time. I measured my plates and they are one inch and these are 1.25 inch.
