Should Show Better Ratings
How dumb can a review get? To ask you to rate the Longevity of a Headlamp Bulb within a month of purchasing it ?!!Stupidity and a dis-service to the bulb's manufacturer's; in this instance, Philips, because no-one can rate more than 3 stars due to lack of evidence. How can you rate it a 5 Star's Longevity after only 3 weeks ?? - bringing down the overall rating. So the rating agency is deliberately bringing a poor rating to this product; but why. Do they do it to other brands as well ?However in this case, this is the third set of these Lamps I have purchased, the first over a year ago, the second, about a year ago; both for friends; and this third pair, for me.The two previous pairs are still good and I am impressed with the brightness of mine, as were my friends with their's.So in this case, I can and do give 5 stars in all three categories. On colour, which I have seen mentioned in other reviews, it is a good and useful "White toward Yellow" rather than "White toward Blue" which doesn't reflect back to you off the road surface as well as white (4000k) or white/yellow does. Probably the ideal would be 3800 or 3900k.Check it out on a wet, black looking road & you'll see it right away.Blue/Bluish lights are for nerds & teeny-bopper dreamers who think it makes their ride look more expensive or valuable. One more point of interest; tinted windshields. For years I wondered why my lights were never as good as they were in my Mk1 Cortina; until I put my head out the driver's window once to check on something. Immediately I got the revelation; 30 or more percent of it being absorbed and lost in my silly tinted windscreen. The next one will be a real one. And, no, although "Bluish" light passes better through tinted windscreens, it's still 'thin' and less visible than 'yellowish' light through clear glass. All that said, my ultimate upgrade was 4000k HIDs, but I couldn't get a WOF because that upgrade was illegal :o(These X-treme Vision +130s are the next best thing that I've found (30% more light than standard 100%).

Decent Replacements Over OEM Bulbs
People don't realize that their eyes are fooled into interpreting whiter light as 'brighter' light. But there are plenty of tests done online to show that light brightness (lumens) is not the same the light color. These 130% bulbs are definitely brighter (and whiter) than the OEM which is evident in what they illuminate down the road. It's better, but don't look for airplane landing lights better. Note: pictures are not accurate (especially in dark environments) because the camera can easily change the settings to compensate, so be wary of comparison images, unless the person knew how to take pictures in manual mode with a fixed white balance. And for those who are frustrated by the shorter lifespan, it's inherent in these type of bulbs (halogen) that lifespan is shorter due to the fact that *all* of these bulbs accomplish the extra brightness by over-driving the filament. It's the only way to keep the same wattage (otherwise higher watt bulbs usually require an entirely new wiring harness to feed the bulbs). But for the price, getting a year or two of considerably better light over the OEM bulbs results in a measurably more confidence in being able to see further down the road. You simply have to see it as the cost of safety.

fits bike
and works great with plenty of light

Difficult to open packaging
I typically don't review products that I just got, but man, the all hard plastic packaging (reminds me of old CD cases) was difficult to open and I actually cut my hand on the bulb while doing so. More environmentally packaging that's easier to open would be a real improvement.

Spotlighting deer
This is my second set of these bulbs. I have no way to measure brightness, but they are brighter than my OEM bulbs. They do throw a lot wider beam of light which is important to me. Living in the country in "deer country" they spotlight deer off further than the road shoulders & into the brush.

Bright, but not so long lasting
Bulb is brighter than standard one, easy enough to install, but their claims of longevity are overstated, in my experience. I've bought six bulbs - three sets, for my 2008 Honda Element and some last a couple years, some considerably less.

Great if you want that oem look with improved brightness
I actually bought these, and switched them after a week for ddm tuning h4s. Not because these are bad, these are amazing oem replacements and they are brighter than the stock bulbs on my Maxima, but led lights are even brighter and safer at night because of the increase in brightness and the color temperature they emit. Good led bulbs dont have cuttoff/glare issues because they mimic the filament location on bulbs like these.Again, 5 stars. They do what they intend, oem replacements, that shine brighter at a cheap price. I keep them in a trunk compartment in the original box if a led bulb ever goes out at night, these are my trusty backup for when I need them.

Good Bulbs, Great Service
For some reason my driver's side headlight keeps going out after about a year but the passenger one keeps going. I order two new ones to replace them and keep the working old one as a spare. I've gotten a couple of years out of the passenger side so an issue with my car and not the bulbs.Prompt delivery.
