I am confused about why some reviewers said it was hard to assemble- it was very straightforward and just involves pushing two big screws into place into the underside of the keyboard. i am a non strong woman (need help from a can opener to open jars often) and i had no issue with this. i am not traveling with my keyboard and just leave it in one room for the most part, so i don't know if maybe for some people who know better about super easy stands or something this might not be their fave for some unknown reason, but if you plan on just leaving your keyboard in one place, i see no reason to not recommend this stand.
