I added 3-4 strips (12-16 pieces) per stick. This made a substantial difference to their stability. It cost me $6 per stick to increase it's weight to a point where I felt it was good. The adhesive is super sticky. Be certain about where you want to stick them, because once you do it's very very difficult to pry them off. I couldn't be happier. Much better buy than the 0.25oz per piece that is sold around here. I will be buying another set as I still have 4 more arcade sticks to add weight to.

I used these weights for in unconventional reason: To prevent neck dive in a Gibson bass guitar. It worked perfectly. The adhesive did what it needed to do, and kept the weight in place and separated from the volume and tone pots in the control cavity.
