So it would only work with dr brown system or rings. With my Ameda bottles and nfant rings, Dr brown nipples collapse because of no-ventilation problem. **Q: can the level 3 nipple fit the level 1 colic bottles? Or do I need to purchase level 3 bottles to be compatible with the level 3 nipple?** A: All the Dr. Brown's narrow nipple flows are compatible with the Dr. Brown's 4 oz. and 8 oz. narrow bottles including the level 3 shown in this post. **Q: Do these nipples work in phlips avant anti colic bottles** A: I’m not sure . We got these for the dr Browns bottles but if they are the same size I don’t see why not . **Q: Are the preemie nipples shorter than the regular nipples?** A: The lengths are the same. The preemie just has a smaller hole and thus a slower flow.
