I bought an older fiberglass boat last year that is a 2001, and I don’t think it has ever been painted. The boat itself was in good shape, but it was definitely aged and likely neglected from waxing and such. I honestly thought I’d just need to give it a fresh coat of paint. Figured I’d give this stuff a try, mostly to clean my deck of some rust spots and such. Well… not only is my deck literally spotless, I went ahead and sprayed my hull and WOW. My entire boat, inside and out, has probably not looked this good since the day it was purchased. I sprayed this stuff on, walked away for maybe 2 minutes tops, came back and what I saw absolutely shocked me. I am still in awe at what this stuff did to my boat. I cannot recommend this enough to someone with an aged boat with some water stains on it, minor rust stains (keyword stains, not rust damage) because this will blow your mind!!! I’ll try to take some pictures of a couple small areas to show you the before and after because it’s like a brand new gel coat look compared to somebody having sprayed well water on my boat daily for years. I honestly had no idea my boat was THAT bad. It had easily improved the look of my boat’s finish 99%. It took literal decades of gunk off in 120 seconds or less.
