That being said I use the lighting kits from Woodland Scenic and build the interior out. You also have to install the floors and ceilings, here I use Evergreen materials **Q: What are the actual dimensions? The "product dimensions" are listed as 11.8x7.9x1.5 inches and the "product description" describes it as 10x5 inches.** A: The difference is the base with and without the side walk. I have found that the side walks of the different merchant row sets (1-5) are different (don’t match). If you want to line the kits up I would strongly suggest getting sidewalk kits that match to replace what comes with the kit. Other than that they are nice models. **Q: Would these buildings work with 1/64 scale cars?** A: Maybe. HO scale is 1/87 which is somewhat close to 1/64. However, the cars will look bigger next to the buildings. I like using 1/64 scale in my layout, so it's a matter of personal taste. Some modelers will feel the discrepancy in scale will look too unrealistic. One way I circumvent this is by using 1/64 vehicles that are small in real life. Their dimensions fit better with 1/87. Also, be aware that most 1/64 scale cars are not true 1/64 scale. Most manufacturers make their cars all about the same size so they conform to the packaging. For example, a Matchbox fire engine will be about the same size as a regular passenger vehicle. **Q: Is v train ho?** A: the v train is not ho. It is completely different. Unless it specifically states it is HO scale, then no it is not a HO train.
