Qedertek Upgraded Solar/Battery Powered String Lights, 72ft 8 Modes 200 LED Dual Power Seasonal Decorative Fairy Lights for Christmas, Home, Garden, Patio, Lawn and Party Decorations(Cool White)

I recently received my Amazon order of #Qedertek 200 LED Dual Power String Lights. The lights will not turn on. I tried charging them for two full days in direct sunlight without success so I tried 2 brand new AA batteries, but the lights still don't light up.I'm so sad.I emailed the company using the address provided in the user guide that came with the lights, but delivery failed. The email address cannot be found.Please let me know if there is a trick to getting these lights to work. I've used solar string lights in the past and find them delightful.UPDATE: I received a quick response from the customer care team member, Linda. She gave me suggestions on how to operated the string lights. I am happy to report that the lights began working on their own. They are beautiful.

These things are fantastic! However, two things:1) When you unwrap them from their initial neat little ball, they instantly become impossibly tangled. Be aware of that, and don't (stupidly...like me) think that it'll be ok. It won't, at least, not for quiiiiiite a while.2) If you live in an extremely cold area (I'm in very, very northern Vermont), the solar won't help because there is no sunlight ANYWHERE, and the batteries will utterly die in below zero temps.Having said that, I think these are great, and would most certainly buy them again. I live in extreme temps that most other people don't, and I know and accept that stuff that works elsewhere will be different here.

Love these. I didn't know how they would hold up with shorter days and lack of sun in Seattle but they're are going strong now in November. I would of given 5 stars but I wasn't able to get mine to stay on steady. I should of gotten two sets but one is ok. I would recommend.

These lights are awesome!I have several solar light sets in my yard, large yard no way to get electric to these places without 3 or 4 extensions. The previous solars light up for only a few hours (6 at most) these are still working when I get up in the morning!I will definitely be ordering more to replace older models.Love the modes also, hadn't noticed that when I ordered. I mostly went for these because of the option to use solar or add batteries. We don't always get a lot of sun here in NY during the winter.Just had a nice storm go through while putting these on trees, they still charged up and lit the whole night through.

I purchased these in the winter of 2018 to help with outdoor Christmas decor in areas that were tough to access electricity with extension cords. Living in Wisconsin, the battery backup seemed like a great option as some winter days do not see much sun. The lights were about a 4-5 star last year, worked pretty well with the exception of resetting themselves to one of the 'blinking' options randomly. Reduced this year to 2 stars as two of the strands simply no longer work at all this year. Would give a 1 star as I believe the lights should have survived beyond a couple months of actual use, bumped up to 2 stars as they did help me last year....all about expectations I guess. In my opinion- don't expect them to work long if using in place with snow/moisture.

The lights look great but they are very dim. I thought hanging 72 feet of lights in a small space might give off a little bit of ambient light but it's minimal. Also the lights won't turn on until it is VERY dark out. There is no way to force them on for accent lighting at dusk unless you cover up the solar panel. I have them stapled to the inside of my kids' treehouse but obviously the solar outside in the light. In the late afternoon or evening when it's very dark in the treehouse the lights won't come on until *well* after sunset.

These lights were very nice, wrapped around the fence in my front yard. They gave off good light. But they lasted only 5 months and then stopped working. We took off the back plate and the inside was corroded. The case has a rubber seal but the battery compartment is not sealed very well and that is probably where the water was entering. If I were to buy them again I would have to take better care to make sure water doesn't get on the control unit/solar cell.

I have ordered these fairy lights numerous times and absolutely love them however the last two orders that I have purchased one out of the two lights do not work. I purchase the lights in advance to use as gifts or when need them for my own decorating and I just recently pulled a set out to use to decorate for xmas and they do not work, the switch seems to be loose. The return expiration date has past so I am now stuck with new non working light
