But I figured it was worth a shot so I moved forward with the purchase. The knife arrived in a very nice, sturdy box (good start). Upon openening the box there was the knife and a small ring that can be attached to the knife so it can be worn on a necklace or lanyard (I don't use these things so the rings still in the box). I removed the knife and noticed right away that it felt solid in my hand. The bronze and brushed metal handle is rather attractive. The small flipper protruded just enough and has a small amount of gimp to grip with your forefinger in order to flip the blade open. It works nicely. The blade flipped open and the liner lock click solid as the blade locked into place. The blade itself is a darker gray and looks very nice. It is also very sharp right out of the box. It seems to hold a good edge. After several usages I decided to sharpen it to maintain a nice sharp edge. It appears to sharpen easily and hold an edge nicely. I have found that I use this mostly for opening boxes and cutting food while at work. It doesn't look like much of a knife looking at it online but once you have it in hand, all that goes out the window when you feel the weight while operating the blade. I would have to say the quality is impressive. A big knife in a little knife body. I do recommend this knife. It fits great in the pocket and works very well. A good go to knife for small needs.
