The only possible downside might be its higher cost. I have been looking around for quite a log time; and, I have tried many masks. I have returned many masks, mostly in an effort to save some money. Finally, I tried this "Drowsy". Its great quality was evendent right from the very first. The shipping was fast! When I saw the quality of the gift box the "Drowsy" arrived in I had the feeling that this mask might be something very special. I was absolutely correct!. I have not seen such wonderful construction and great materials in any of the other masks I tried. Its silk fabric is incredibly soft. The padding is just right for the great light blocking job it does. The velcro fastener on the strap works very easily. I, Myself, am not a fan of the elastic straps which are on many other masks. I find that elastic eventually gives up in a short time, no matter of those masks possibly higher quality. This Drowsy lets absolutely NO light in. This is the first mask I've had which covers the ears. At first I thought I might not like that. I was wrong about that possibility. The "Drowsy" feels great over My ears. Because the mask completely surrounds the head, I found there is no light leakage anywhere. With either front sleeping, side or back sleeping,There are absolutely NO light leaks. The mask is very light weight. The mask is fluffy and in no way feels uncomfortable or bunchy in any of the sleep positions. Overall, just handling and looking at this mask, You have the feeling of truely, very high quality. My advice is, go ahead and make a great investment.. Lay out the cash for what I believe You'll agree was that Your money was very well spent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ REM Sleep!!!!! Reached the 1st night,14hrs sleep! *by on Reviewed in the United States May 1, 2024* This mask is worth every penny! I never thought I'd spend $60+ on a sleep mask. (This was on sale at the time of purchase). I have a few on my list of friends to buy these for for either a holiday or their birthday. This is amazing I've had so many different ones where I end up pulling them off and can't deal with the tight elastic band that ultimately goes limp anyways this one is like a soft pillow across your eyes and although a person should probably wash their face and take their eyelashes off if you have lashes depending on how long they are it may or may not bother them. I wear strip lashes and I slept with the mask the third night with lashes on and it didn't seem to bother them or me. The first night I slept with this with no lashes I slept for 14 hours I could not believe it the second night I slept for a good 7 hours which is generally what I need. And then again the third night I woke up early morning to use the restroom and the mask was off apparently but I put it back on and I got another 5 hours and a dream out of it! I've had dreams the last three nights I am so thankful something has finally gotten me into REM sleep. And FYI I have taken 10 mg of chewable melatonin the 1st 2 nights then 7.5 mgs the 3rd night to really help me jump start my circadian rhythm. I also do my best to make sure I cut out caffeine between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and if I forget I take 200mgs of L-theanine which helps cut the effect of caffeine and any kind of jittery feeling FYI do your own research but that is why some people can drink tea over coffee and be fine. If it's still too pricey I recommend putting it in your cart and making it a favorite so you'll get notified when the price drops but oh my God if you're on the fence, buy it! I bought the pretty teal green one and I would not be ashamed to wear this on an airplane either I love it! It is like a cloud of Heaven for your eyes ladies use a makeup wipe at least before you put this on just to keep the silk nice I know sometimes we're so wiped out we don't even want to wash our faces at times but keep some makeup wipes next to your bed at least before you put this on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Treat yo self! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 20, 2026* Worth the money. I’ve used sleeping masks for years. Generally the high end, weighted, conforming kind, so these were a gamble for me. And I love it. It’s much comfier than a mask with a band that sits above your ears, it blocks out more light, and stays on like a champ. Also outstanding durability. Follow the instructions and don’t put it in the dryer if you want it the keep its shape. Though doing so accidentally really just made it puffy and maybe took a toll on the silk.
