These boots come with a travel bag, presumably so you can try on the boots without scuffing the leather sole, but it also makes for a nice accessory. I returned the first pair because they were slightly too tight in the width on my larger foot. Second pair, a half size up, came with slightly scuffed soles and the start of creases forming on the vamp. Someone had clearly tried them on, walked around in them indoors, and decided to return. I was a little disappointed in the creasing, as it felt like the leather was from a bit more of a belly or other grain-break-prone region of the hide vs. the first pair, but since they fit well and still looked good, I decided to keep.
