Great camera, great kit.

So many features to learn. I've never used a camera like this before.

First off, I was looking for a point and shoot for video mainly. So this review only applies to that. If you're just looking for a stills camera, this might work for you (or you might have the same issue, not sure). I was really hoping this would be the ideal portable camera to take on vacations with the family so I wouldn't have to lug around my bigger DSLR. But after using it extensively for a few days, I've realized it just won't work for me. Here's why:1. FOCUS JUMPING - If you search around on Youtube you'll hear about this problem. Some people downplay it but it's a BIG deal. The autofocus doesn't seem to know where to focus most of the time. So you constantly have to touch the screen to make sure what you want to be in focus is in focus. Lots of my shots were either ruined or missed because of this problem.2. POOR AUDIO - I was not expecting much from this camera regarding audio. It's not built for that. I get it. But was hoping for a little better quality than I what I got. I like to capture the sounds as much as the visual images and this didn't cut it. If you're in a controlled environment it's fine. But not so much when you're outdoors running and gunning.3. BATTERY LIFE & CHARGING OPTION - This thing crapped out in about 2 hours of moderate use shooting 4K video -- which I guess is not bad compared to it's Sony and Canon competitors. But unfortunately, you have to plug the camera (with the battery installed obviously) into an outlet and wait. You can buy and additional battery and charger for about a hundred bucks but the camera does NOT come with a charger so that you can just buy an extra battery and charge it while you're using the camera so it's ready when you need it. In other words, you have to charge them both, one at a time, in the camera, which means you can't actually be using the camera as it charges. That's a big downside for me. Wish they would just include a charger with the camera.On the positive, the image quality is quite nice. It's cool that you can get such nice bokeh from a point a shoot (when it's in focus).Hope this helps someone else who might be looking for a compact video shooter. Sorry to day, it didn't work for me.

A little bit technical for a point & shoot. There are a lot of bells & whistles for manual settings. If you aren't going to use these features & want a simple point & shoot, look at a different model. I love the camera but gave it 4 stars due to lack of instructions in the operating manual. That & the need to use a magnifying glass to see them. I've had to download apps & videos to help me.

Camera and the package arrived but the 64GB memory didn't but they remedy it fast and I am a Happy camper. Thank you RitzCamera. I will buy another camera again from you if I need it a new unit and highly recomend them.
