Solid choice.
There's not much to say other than it's a great pad. I've bought several mousepads over the year and quite a few mice to boot. I just like testing different combinations of mice, mouse sensitivities, and mousepads to see how my gaming experience changes. I should note, I'm into shooters (currently playing Dirty Bomb and Overwatch), and I get really persnickety about my ability to aim and track targets on my screen. While I don't think this will be the last pad I buy, I definitely think it's a solid choice. The X-Y balance is no marketing gimmick. If you try a few pads, you'll notice many emphasize horizontal movement,e.g., you move your mouse faster left to right than you can up and down. I'm sure most low sens players appreciate this feature, as it helps them pan their view in a pinch, but it throws me off. In the early trials of using this mouse, my aim was much more consistent and I've needed far less "break-in" time to get used to the pad. Review below.Quality. Honestly, most pads will last a long time, and this one is no different. I was initially concerned about the lack of stitched edges, but after having some time with the product I don't think it'll be an issue in the long run. Roccat has stitched edging with some of their other pads, so they're aware of the benefits. I'm more inclined to believe that they're found an alternative manufacturing technique that gets the same durable result without the drawback. After all, the stitched edges can get in the way if you have a tendency to pan your mouse to the edges every now and again. With this pad, you won't have any surprises or speed bumps interrupting your movement.Look and design. Plain black surface. Perfect for tracking. Though I should note that the logo is raised on the bottom right corner. I don't think it'll be an issue for most, though. And if it is, just turn the pad around and you won't have to deal with it. Personally, I think it adds a nice touch.Surface tracking and feel. It's a smooth pad, there's no doubt about it. It has low initial friction, so subtle movements are unencumbered. I haven't had an issue with stopping power, either, and I generally prefer rougher pads that inhibit glide. But this isn't one of those pads. It seems to have a good balance between the two. Though, if you're looking to prioritize speed, I'd look elsewhere. In conclusion, if you're wandering around and looking for that perfect pad, I'd give this one a go. It's definitely worth the price tag, and it offers a feel you won't find with other pads. For reference, I'm a medium-low sens player with a 32cm/360.Mice I own: Razer Deathadder Elite, Logitech GPro, Logitech 303, Final Mouse Scream Edition, Roccat Kova 2016.Other mousepads I own: Artisan Hein Mid (Large), Cosair MM300 (extended), and Roccat Taito Control.

Perfect, and the xxl wide is masterful.
Great price for performance and fit. If you want all the real estate and a great platfrom for the keyboard and flexible mouse placement, the wide model just fits great. Material is great. Simple look is appreciated!

Great Mousepad!
So I have gone through many mousepads and I have always come back to the Roccat Taito.Honestly, the mouse glide/smoothness of the cloth face is so far above others I have used. For the price I doubt you'd be able to find anything better.Another reason why the Taito is my favourite mousepad is that there is no lump/stitching on the edges. I rest my arm on the desk and having the mousepad be unintrusive is a must for me.The build quality for these are also surprisingly good. The last one I had "that I replaced with this purchase" was 3 years old, it outlasted 3 mice! Even then, there was nothing wrong physically with the mousepad, it was getting a bit dirty and I decided I wanted the bigger 2XL version. I gave it a quick wash and it is now my travel mousepad.TLDR: Great mousepad you wont be disappointed with... I know I will be buying these for as long as I can.

Great mousepad, exactly what was needed for my large desk. The rubber material on the underside gives great anti-slip functionality to the pad as well as the top surface being great for smooth accuracy. Only a small fault if any (not one to warrant loosing a start) was that the mouse pad is taking it's time to flatten out after arriving due to the nature of its packaging.

Build quality is poor go for large mats with stitching on the edges.
The size of this matt and the surface are good for gaming however the top black layer was splitting from the bottom blue foam layer within hours of actual use. The edge is unstitched so it must be glued on and the glue is not strong enough. Returned this one and was bought a Corsair MM300 of similar size on Prime Day ( approx twice the price when on sale but will last much much longer ) which I'm very happy with.

Great big mat
Great mat but it is big, really big and covers most of the front of my desk, no need to worry about my mouse slipping off any more though!
