I used these to attach ID tags to my dogs' collars. I bought 3 of them, and 2 are already broken. (it's been 4 months). The plastic part that holds the tags cracked and the tags fell off. The dogs were just wearing the collars daily - no pulling/chewing on the tags on anything like that.

Loved the idea of this. Had a couple collars for my pitbull. One more water proof for when he was in the lake. Another simple and softer for just relaxing or normal wear. This appeared to make it simple to switch his collar and keep the tags in place. Was easy to put the tags on and get on the collars too!However, I've had it less than a month and it's already broken. Thankfully, I located his tags in the yard where he was playing. I was hoping it would hold up a bit longer. Glad bought two, but I will not be buying more if they do not last more than a month.

easy to use and durable - also a nice size

So far so good. My pitbull hasn't yet destroyed it. It's easy to take apart to change out tags. Seems to have helped reduce the rubbing between the tags, too.EDIT: May 2017: Broke after 5 months. Still, lasted longer than the keyrings I had been using.

Only four stars because it was only available in pink. But we bought two for our German Shepherds several months ago and they are performing superbly so far. We have changed their collars at least twice and had to remove and reinstall the Links-It. No problems encountered. Highly recommended. Need more colors available though! (Glad both of our dogs are females.)

Thought this was the solution to easily transferring tags but within a few weeks it broke. My dog was out playing in the snow. When she came in, her tags were falling off. The clip had broke and now some of the tags are out in the yard under snow. Would not recommend this product.

I had high hopes for this tag holder, and the design seems to be well-thought out. We have a very active dog who has lost his tags four times now, including yesterday with this item. I was unable to locate it, so don't know if it broke or just opened spontaneously. His tags were securely fastened. We are now going to have to remove his collar every time he goes off leash, since we have found no solution that protects his tags.

This is the 4th one purchased. and now all of my dogs have one. I have purchased other tag clips like s-biners and tagibiners only to have the dogs come in later with the tags fallen off because the clips became loose or the metal fasteners broke apart. The Links-it design is lightweight, flexible and easy to install on a collar. I purchased 3 about 8 months ago and each is still attached with tags on the collar.
