It has a wide Apparent Field Of View (AFOV) of 62Β° and sharp across most of the field. Only thing that could be better is the Eye Relief (ER). To get the full AFOV, your eye needs to be scrunched up pretty close to the lens. However, this being a high power EP at 4 mm, the ER for this level of magnification (and design of EP) naturally won't be that good. Still though, very pleased with this product. What's especially nice is that there is a removable Barlow element threaded in the inside of the chrome EP barrel. That element can be unscrewed - which then makes this a 8 mm EP. So you essentially get 2 EP's in one! Highly recommended! Review: Great eyepeice - Great eyepiece helped see things a lot better from the stock eyepieces we got with our telescope ## Features - Focal length;0.16" 4mm;offer high magnifications;look more closely and more detailed at the moon's surface and other planet; for viewing the moon and planets - Standard 1.25’’ 31.75mm fitting diameter;can be used in any astronomical telescope with a 1.25" focuser;for broad field lunar observations; medium sized star clusters;and a wide range of cloudy nebulas and deep sky targets - Fully coated optics glass eyepieces for excellent image contrast and light transmission;give maximum detail and definition across the entire field of view;highly achromatic;planetary filters enhance details on Jupiter;Saturn;Mars and Venus - 4mm lens only weighs 0.09lb; For lenses with the same refractive index; the 62 degree aspheric eyepiece is thinner and lighter than the spherical eyepiece;designed primarily for planetary observation;perfect for deep sky objects - Wide angle; 4mm 62 degree aspheric eyepiece can get maximum detail and definition across the entire field of view; Anti-lost design; Eyepiece interface recess portion can prevent the loss;Applicable;watch the scenery;bright celestial observations; nebula and so on ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01J7Z1YV2 | | Additional Features | fully multy coated, wide angel | | Best Sellers Rank | #2 in Telescope Eyepieces | | Brand | SVBONY | | Built-In Media | 1x 4mm eyepiece | | Coating | Fully multi-coated | | Compatible Devices | telescope | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 683 Reviews | | Eye Piece Lens Description | Fully Coated Glass | | Field Of View | 62 degrees | | Finderscope | Reflex | | Focal Length Description | 0.16 inches | | Focus Type | Manual Focus | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 2.95"D x 1.57"W x 1.57"H | | Item Weight | 1.44 ounces | | Manufacturer | SVBONY | | Manufacturer Part Number | FAUF9301AA | | Model Name | FUSF9301AA | | Model Number | FAUF9301AA | | Mount | Fixed Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Objective Lens Diameter | 7 centimeters | | Optical Tube Length | 4 millimeters | | Optical-Tube Length | 4 millimeters | | Telescope Mount Description | Fixed Mount | | UPC | 608560862009 | | Warranty Description | We provide 1 year warranty for SVBONY telescope accessories and 30 days no reason to return.
